Itinerary
Trip Itinerary
Your adventure begins upon arrival at Socotra Airport, where our team greets you and takes you for a welcome lunch. From here, we drive to Houq Cave, the largest cave on the island. A demanding hike (approx. 1–1.5 hours each way) leads deep inside this untouched cavern, where you’ll explore vast chambers adorned with stalagmites, stalactites, and natural flowstones—completely unlit, unaltered, and wild.
The day ends at Arhar Beach, where white dunes meet turquoise waters. Camp overnight at this remote coastal site.
After breakfast, head into the mountains to swim in the clear pools of Kalysan Wadi, a hidden freshwater oasis. Lunch and rest follow at Wadi Qarya, surrounded by rugged valley cliffs.
In the afternoon, continue to the Dihamri Marine Protected Area, a hotspot for snorkeling and diving with vibrant coral reefs. From there, we ascend to the Dixam Plateau to reach the alien-like Firmihin Forest, home to thousands of iconic Dragon’s Blood Trees. Tonight, camp high on the plateau under brilliant stars, surrounded by this rare and ancient landscape.
Wake to the calls of mountain birds before driving west toward Qalansiya, home to the island’s largest stretch of sand—Detwah Lagoon. This vast, wild bay is one of Socotra’s most spectacular camping sites.
Here, you’ll meet the island’s famous “Caveman,” who lives in harmony with nature in his cliffside shelter. Learn about his unique lifestyle before settling in for another night of wild camping. Sunset over Detwah Lagoon is one of the island’s most unforgettable sights.
This morning, take to the sea for a boat safari, watching pods of dolphins leap and play in the open waters. The boat continues to Shoab Beach, a hidden paradise accessible only by sea. Swim in crystal-clear waters, relax on untouched sands, and soak in the raw beauty of Socotra’s coastline.
Return to camp for showers, a final dinner under the stars, and one last sunset to close your expedition.
Enjoy breakfast before transferring to the airport for your departure, leaving with lasting memories of Socotra’s wilderness and raw beauty.
